Considering this is a blog about college life, I thought it would be a good idea to share my story of college so far. Like I have mentioned before, I am currently going to Lonestar College. I've been here about 3 years now. I know that seems like a long time to be in a community college, but they recently started a new program for engineers last year, so I may be here a bit longer before I transfer. This new program created more classes as well as created a new Associate Degree offered to Lonestar students for engineers (mine being an Associate of Science in Mechanical Engineering). It still needs a bit of work, but it is a great program nonetheless. And my experience here so far has been memorable. The people I have met and the classes I have taken have been such an experience, and this is community college. I wonder what it would be like at a four-year university. (Random fact about me: I tend to look at 9gag on my spare time, so I may be posting pictures and memes from there).
Ok, so one of the posts I must create is to explain why I chose my topic. To be honest, I just created this one because it was the second thing that came to my mind. The first topic I was thinking of was about the upcoming Super Bowl and who would win (Go Patriots!!), but football is something I am still in the process of learning about (thanks to my boyfriend <3). But I think college life was a better topic for pretty much everyone. If anyone does choose to comment or post anything, it may be of some use to someone else, including myself. Plus, I would like to see some interesting stories about college life, such as class you are taking, what professors or schools to go to, etc. I think one that would be interesting would be life hacks some of you have found out in everyday life. Here is one I found today (courtesy of Google Images and Pinterest) :

Hello everyone,

This is my first blog ever and I am not sure how all this works, but I am willing to give it a shot. Granted this is for a class assignment, but I think this will be pretty fun! So to start, I am going to introduce myself. My name is Sonia and I am going to Lonestar College currently. I am planning to eventually transfer to a university to get a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. I'm still not sure which college I will be attending, but I'm sure I will figure it out soon. :P
